Best sandwiches I’ve ever had. We had the salami and the ham. It’s totally halal too! The sauce was excellent and the seasoning on the salad was great. They have fresh juice which really packs a punch. There is mostly outdoor seating and trying to fit something like a stroller next to your table might take some adjusting but overall, it was a fantastic experience.

Our only regret about this place is that we found it on our last day. Best breakfast we had. Also very good price.

Had roastbeef sandwich. It was really good and the portion is big (the waitress made sure to emphasize that the beef is uncooked, I guess there were people who ordered and were surprised they got raw beef). They have limited indoor seating, so during windy and cold days eating will be a challenge. Still I’m sure they’ve figured it out.

If you’re someone who needs a big breakfast to start the day and you want it for a great value, this is the place for you. The omelettes are massive and they all come with bread and salad. The outside seating was wonderful and service was great. Our food was out within 3 minutes of ordering! I might even come back tomorrow!!

Broodje bert is definitely one of the best lunch rooms in the city center of Amsterdam. Not only are the sandwiches delicious (I highly recommend the roast beef with old cheese), they are also very affordable for how much you get for the price, especially if you take into account that it's located within an expensive area. Service is also very quick so if you are in a rush and want to have lunch within 20 minutes, definitely go here!

Friendly staff, reasonable prices, great food and coffee. Generous sandwich with a nice dressed side salad. I've been served within 10 minutes. Runned by a hard working family. Pic says it all.

Quick service, delicious food - omelette served on an open baguette with some greens on the side with sauce which tasted like homemade. We had the ham-cheese omelette and the one with Gruyère cheese, bacon and mushrooms. Freshly squeezed orange juice and good selection of tea.Great vibe by a canal. Recommend!

Fresh and delicious food with huge portions at an incredible price! The place is a bit small, so if you're coming for breakfast, arrive early. But don’t worry—the service is fast, so you won’t wait long. I highly recommend the kafta burger with fries and the cappuccino. A hidden gem near the 9 Straatjes!
